This hybrid LIVE and studio version of my original song was captured at the now-defunct Relish on Danforth. The song is about a childhood friend’s father. On one of many return trips to my home town of Montreal, I dropped into the Snowdon Tavern on Decarie Blvd. Lo and behold, there’s my buddy’s dad, talkin’ slow and steady, smokin’ cigarettes… and drinking. Hard.
