The Endless Story of the Blues

The Blues is a story that needs to be renewed and reinvented to keep it relevant and meaningful to the here and now. For me, the art I pursue is inspired by the debt I owe to the people who created this music.
The music and motion pictures I create, with the many collaborators I have been gifted to work with, are about stories I’ve lived and witnessed. For me, every one of these stories begins where the Blues begins – in the struggle to advance and celebrate our humanity. By inviting others do the same, even if only by listening, grooving along, or watching, we all benefit from a richer appreciation for how much we owe to the endless story of the Blues.
